Our product port folio encloses printing inks, Varnishes, Primer, as well glues for the different applications and printing methods. With our own laboratory we offer individual developments and solutions to our customers.

Our strengths: Service
In cooperation with our customers we develop printing inks, varnishes and primer, as well as glues for general and specific requirements. An individual consultation by our experts and specialists includes a Service. We offer an mixing service which encloses the PANTONE colours and all other current colour mixing systems. Our delivery volumes starts already from 1 kg (past-like inks) and 5 kg (Flexo inks). We also develop customer specific special tones and special colours by wish. Certification
Since 1996 we are ecological audit well as ISO 14001 cetrificated and we were the first printing ink manufacturer in Germany who received this certification. Also with the subject of sustainability we are one of the pioneers: in 1997 we were awarded with the "Umweltpreis" of Baden-Württemberg.
History
1965
The company was founded in 1965 by Kurt Wahl. He developed the business to a printing ink and consultation specialists for label printing, at first in Germany, afterwards also in Europe.
1981
In 1981 the today's CEO and owner of the GSB-Wahl GmbH, Jochen Wahl entered into the company and built up a first lab for customer related R&D. With improvement in the products it was started with the production of water based inks and later on with UV curring inks. Today all of our self produced printing inks, varnish and glues are quality controlled. Therefore the maximum in flexibility is guaranteed for our customers.
1990
In 1990 it was started with the production of special inks for air balloons. At first only for Flexo printing based on natural latex. Later an a special screen printng ink was developed and eastablished. Today the GSB-Wahl GmbH is the leader for balloon printing in Europe.
2006
Since 2006 the GSB-Wahl GmbH started R&D activities in the area of printed Electronics. Several R&D projects with Partners (University of Technology of Chemnitz, FH Bielefeld) are started with aim for developing conductive inks for printing processes like Flexo-, Screen, Inkjet and Pad printing.
2008
In 2008 Florian Wahl entered as the CTO to the company. He is responsible for the production, quality management and as the representative for customers.
2015
New Business unit Printed Electronics was established. GSB-Wahl GmbH is structured in four business units:
